Jacintha Thomas, a Research Assistant in Dr. Lori Wallrath’s lab, was featured in the May 7th UIHC publication called “The Loop”. During the COVID-19 shut down, Jacintha divides her time between the adjacent laboratories of Lori Wallrath and Arlene Drack (Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences). Jacintha has been instrumental in maintaining valuable mice and fruit fly stocks used for studies of human disease.
